The tanks & rooms here
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Blissful Relaxation Float Louisville & Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Blissful Relaxation Float Louisville & Spa's own information: filters the full tank 4× between floats, UV sterilization, hydrogen peroxide.

What floaters say
“The float tank itself was VERY spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with perfectly warm salt water that made floating effortless.”
“I recommend first timers maybe keep the lights on and music on the whole time but you should really work up to lights off and music off.”
“I tried floating, fire & ice (contrast therapy) and the full spectrum infrared sauna and came out feeling SO relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to take on the weeks to come.”
“I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Nichole & Nick, and they were both incredible at walking me through their services and also making me feel so comfortable.”
“Being able to completely disconnect in their spacious float rooms was a game changer it allowed me to truly recharge both my mind and body at the same time.”

From the reviews
I had tried floating before but struggled with bumping up against the walls in the pod-style chambers. The tanks at Blissful are HUGE! Everything was impeccably clean and the rooms were laid out very well for a calming experience.
I received a gift card for a float and a massage. Holy hell did I need it!!! The float is a very out of body experience but was the perfect way to relax before the massage. Patrice (sp?) was my massage therapist and she must have been sculpted from clay and given to us by the gods because her hands are other worldly!!!
This experience far exceeded my expectations! I purchased the package with the float, massage, and infrared sauna. I used all three services in the same day. It was such a wonderfully relaxing experience. There was a nice robe to use after a service to go between services.
My girlfriend and I started our anniversary celebration day here at this wonderful establishment. We were met by both owners up front and were so hospitable. They answered any questions we had and were very efficient with explaining how things were going to go. We did the float tank and sauna w/ halotherapy.
Your first float at Blissful Relaxation Float Louisville & Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
