The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Altered States Wellness Vintage Park
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Altered States Wellness Vintage Park's own information: UV sterilization, ozone.

From the reviews
What a wonderful, relaxing experience at Altered States Wellness last night. My fiancée bought us the Ultimate Date Night package. We floated our cares away then relaxed with champagne and a charcuterie board prepared for my gluten and dairy free requirements. Our host Jarrissa was super nice and took great care of us.
First: 10/10 recommend What an experience I’ve been sitting on doing a float for 3 years. Glad I did, cause 60 mins felt like 10 mins. A level of peace you can’t get anywhere. Staff was outstanding and super welcoming Jaryssa at the front had an amazing personality and made the experience that much better!
I've always wanted to try float therapy, so I started looking for places near me and this came up on the map. I ended up booking my husband and me a couple's float because I was a little nervous to do it alone! When we arrived, Jamie gave us a tour of the facilities and made us feel right at home.
Excellent experience! I’ve floated in other places before but if they were 5 star, then Altered Wellness is 10/10!! First time at the location and David did a great job of touring me around the features and resources available- from supplements and beverages in the lobby to the various cold plunge/sauna rooms and red…
Your first float at Altered States Wellness Vintage Park
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
